Redback Tourers
Motorcycle Club South Australia was established in 1989.
Our aim is to promote
motorcycling by holding Rallies throughout South Australia, which are
R.A.C. (Redbacks At Coonalpyn) Rally, Sedan Pub Rally,
and Lake Bonney Rally. Each rally gives us the opportunity to fundraise for
the communities that we hold at each town by using part of the profits that
we make at these rallies. We have donated money to the Coonalpyn Primary
School, Barmera Rotary Club, and within the Sedan Community.
In addition to these
rallies, we have meetings once a month. Our members live all over South
Australia, so when we hold meetings we all travel to them at a central
location. Some of the places we have been to are Sedan, Tungkillo,
Wellington, Swanreach, and Walker Flat. At these Meetings we have the
opportunity to catch up with each other and turn the meetings into a social
gathering where we can stay overnight in swags or the hotel rooms. We have
a chance to meet the community and have a few drinks with them.
Because our aim is to
support motorcycling we travel to other Club rallies to support their
rallies. At these rallies as a club we have the chance to get together with
our friends that have the same interests as we do.
